  • Child Dedication

As a parent, there is perhaps no single decision that is more important or significant than dedicating your child(ren) back to God.  Child dedication is the chance to recognize that children are a gift given to us by God, entrusted to our care. Note: We believe that baptism should take place after one has made a personal choice to accept Jesus Christ as his or her Savior; therefore, this service is not infant baptism.

  • BAptism

    Sunday, November 19, 2017 // 9:30 and 11:15 AM services

At GCC, believer baptism is a celebration…a huge celebration! As a faith community, we believe the most exciting thing we can celebrate is a person’s new life in Christ. To watch someone both declare their allegiance to Jesus and to symbolically enter the new life he offers through baptism is something we all want to celebrate together. Baptisms are held periodically during regular worship services. All those being baptized must register, attend a brief orientation prior to their baptism (Oct 29th after the 11:15 service), and have made a personal decision to be a Christ follower (Romans 10:9-10; Romans 12:1-2). In addition, those being baptized are urged to register for an upcoming connection group term if they have not already attended.
