GCC Kids encompasses infants through 5th graders.

Children's services run alongside with GCC's main service, starting at 10:00 am on Sundays.

Every one on our GCC Kids Team desires to help your children understand who God is and how they can have a relationship with Him. We are also dedicated to partnering with YOU, as parents and families, to continue building up your child in the way they should go.

All GCC Kids Team Volunteers must complete and clear a background check prior to serving with GCC Kids. Each incoming volunteer trains with one of our current volunteers before serving on their own.

Infants & Toddlers (3 mos - 36 mos)

Our infant room is a loving, clean and safe atmosphere where children can have their first encounters with God. Our kids team is dedicated to making sure that a child's memory of their church experience is one of tender love, nurturing care and fun. The volunteers in our infant and toddler classroom have a deep love for babies and have proper training care. 


To make your experience the best it can be, here are a few things you can do to help:

Pre-K  (3-5 yrs)

Our Pre-K room is a colorful and exciting atmosphere for little ones as they begin to learn and remember their first Bible stories and lessons from God’s Word! 


Each week includes fun, engaging Bible stories and worship that's full of energy and joy. Through hands-on activities and interactive play, kids are encouraged to connect with one another and discover just how much God loves them.

Elementary     

In Kids church, our mission is to help kids connect with each other, their church, and God. We want every child to know the truth of who Jesus created them to be—and to discover a place where they can have fun, belong, and grow in faith.


Every month in Kids Church, your kids will sing worship songs, memorize Scripture, and learn how to find and understand God’s Word using their Bibles. They’ll dive into fun and engaging Bible lessons, followed by group discussions that help them apply what they’ve learned in real life—all in a space where they can laugh, learn, and grow in faith together.

YOUR FIRST SUNDAY

Here’s what to expect when visiting us for the first time:

First, our Welcome Team will direct you to the Family Check-in Area. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.


Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s) & contact info
  • Child(ren)’s name & birthdate
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children


How Sunday Check-in Works

When you come to church, you want to know your kids are in a safe, secure environment—and we couldn’t agree more. At GCC Kids, our check-in and security process is designed to give you peace of mind. Below, you'll find everything you need to know about how we keep your children safe from drop-off to pick-up.

  • You can check-in your child at any available kiosk at our kids Check-in desk. After finding your child’s name in the secure database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

  • After the service is complete, you will return to the kids check-in desk and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

  • In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will text you at the number provided. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

Family Resources

We realize that kids only spend about 30-60 hours in church a year. Kids also learn more effectively from their own parents and families than they might from a GCC Kids Team Volunteer. That's why we're here to partner with YOU. Below are a few resources to support you in parenting your child in faith. Don't see what you are looking for?   • RIGHT NOW MEDIA

    Right Now Media is a Christian based media app. Here, you can find an ample amount of kids series, shorts and movies. It's an easy to use program to find media for specific age groups or specific purposes.
